1 in 9 Canadian women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Let’s do something to change that.
I was diagnosed in October of 2016. I was 38. Five months of chemotherapy and a bilateral mastectomy are behind me; I'm in the middle of radiation therapy and hormone therapy; and I have at least one more surgery in my future. Thanks to research, my prognosis is much better than it was for my aunt 20 years ago.
I am participating in this year’s CIBC Run for the Cure which supports the breast cancer cause at the Canadian Cancer Society. I’m running in honour of the incredible women in my life, and I need your help!
Please contribute what you can to my fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation will fund innovative breast cancer research to help save the lives of more women and provide support programs to those affected by this disease.
Did you know that just $100 could fund 2 hours of lifesaving research in a world class laboratory?
Your contribution could be the cause of the next lifesaving breakthrough!
Let’s be Changemakers, and together, we can create a future without breast cancer.
Thanks in advance for your support!
