Welcome to Linda Jones's personal page
November 2015 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer - a screening mammogram found the lump early, followed by a diagnostic mammogram and biopsy. I was diagnosed at Stage 1 and it had not spread to my lymph nodes. I had a lumpectormy in December followed by 20 radiation treatments in March and have continued with Tamoxifen treatment as my breast cancer was estrogen/progesterone positive. I am a survivor!
Please support my fundraising efforts. By making a donation, not only will you become part of a national movement that will come together in communities across Canada on October 1st, but you will ensure more money is invested in the most promising research projects in support of the 1 in 9 Canadian women expected to develop breast cancer during her lifetime.
The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation funds life-saving research, such as:
* Identifying new genetic factors that predispose people to breast cancer
* Using state-of-the-art technology to design much-needed treatments for breast cancer that has spread to the brain and lungs
It is because of advancements in research that women are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal and donate today. Together, we can create a future without breast cancer.
Thank you in advance for your generosity! xox Linda
