Welcome to Surinder Parmar's personal page
1 in 8 Canadian women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Let’s promise to change that.
I’m participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure to benefit the breast cancer cause. I’m running in honour of the incredible women in my life, and I need your help!
In years past I have participated in the Run for the Cure for a beloved friend Kelli Glass, who lost her battle to cancer on December 24, 2009. However, this year I am not only participating on behalf of Kelli, but am also participating on behalf of my dear aunt Kuldip Kaur Parmar, who also lost her battle to cancer this past April.
In my efforts to raise awareness, as well as donations, I will be chopping off my locks and donating them to an establishment that makes wigs for children (19 years and under), who are affected by cancer.
Please contribute what you can to help me achieve my fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference and gets us one step closer to making breast cancer beatable. Your donation will fund innovative breast cancer research to help save the lives of more women and provide support programs to those affected by this disease.
Did you know that just $100 could fund 2 hours of lifesaving research in a world class laboratory? Your contribution could lead to the next breakthrough!
Together, we can change the future of breast cancer.
Thanks in advance for your support!
