Post-Secondary Challenge

What is a post-secondary school?

Post-secondary institutions are defined as any Canadian university, college, or CEGEP. If you have a question regarding your school, please contact Donor Services at connect@cancer.ca or phone 1-800-387-9816.

Who is eligible to participate in the Post-Secondary Challenge (PSC)?

Anyone is eligible to participate in the PSC, including students, faculty, staff, friends, and/or family. In order to win the Post-Secondary Team Challenge Award (presented to the top fundraising PSC team at each location) you need to be registered as a PSC team type and be affiliated with a Canadian post-secondary institution. All winning teams are awarded with a plaque on Run day.

How do I register?

On www.cibcrunforthecure.com, select your Run site and choose either to create or join a team. After logging in as a Returning or New participant, select your post-secondary institution from the Multi-Site Team Affiliation / Institution drop down menu.

What Post-Secondary Challenge awards are presented on Run day?

A PSC award is presented to the top fundraising PSC team at each Run location. All winning teams are awarded with a plaque on Run day.

What Post-Secondary Challenge awards are presented after Run day?

The Top Institution Award will be presented to the institution whose team(s) achieves the highest fundraising amount across Canada.

What if my school is not listed in the drop down box?

If your institution is not listed on the website please contact Donor Services at connect@cancer.ca or phone 1-800-387-9816.
